Two separate reads: Fatigue is pure workload — recent innings and back-to-back arms, nothing about outcomes. Efficiency is pure performance — ERA and WHIP over that same window, nothing about volume. A pen can be tired and dominant at once. Always cross-check injuries and roster moves before leaning on it.
